Catch Up!
OK, well...I was on a roll with the blogging thing...oh well, I am at it again.
I should have been sitting here for the past hour reading my psychology book or watching psychology videos...instead of looking at my fave scrappy websites and blogs...but what can you do? Its relaxing.
Anyways... poor baby Addy! She had a hard time going to sleep tonight. She started crying out so I went to go see what was wrong. When I went in, she was sitting at the head end of her crib looking for me to come in, she just sat there crying arms out to me saying "Ready!" over and over. Poor baby, she just wanted more hugs...after a few minutes of rocking and "shhh" the heavy breathing set in. I just laid her down and got a "NighNigh." So cute. I wish she would let me just hold her more often, I miss it. *Yes, I know...I have been told this from the very beginning.
The 24 hour crop this weekend turned out really well! Big fun, lots of friends and cropping going on. Played some Pokeno for scrappy prizes and drawings for more goodies. Can't wait to do it again. Mom and I stayed up the whole night. Pretty big feat I think, considering Mom prob. hasn't done that since me and Les were young, and I had worked all day. We made it without a break until 10 am. It was time to pack it up since both of us started to nod off. 2 other ladies made it with us. Got a lot accomplished too, always a bonus-about 10 pages each.
J-O's babysitter told her about some sort of marriage seminar thing for women tomorrow evening and I was invited. Don't know all the details yet, so don't know if I can go yet. Sounds like something good to me. I have been wanting me and Hubbs to do something like that, but during sporty seasons it is nearly impossible to make a long term commitment to a class. So a one nighter sounds good to me. We shall see.
Ever heard of a Snakehead fish or "Frankenfish"? Its on National Geo. channel...pretty crazy. A fish with sharp teeth that can "walk" and live out of water for up to three days. Cool.
Oh, yeah, gotta come up with something good for V-Day too...hmmmm.
